This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the guidelines and rules for using TRUX Cloud hosting services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with this policy and our Terms of Service. Please read this policy carefully to ensure you understand the rules governing your use of our platform.
Your use of TRUX Cloud constitutes your acceptance of this Acceptable Use Policy. We review this policy periodically and may update it from time to time. Failure to comply with this AUP may result in account suspension or termination of your services.
1. Permitted Use
1.1 Authorized Users
TRUX Cloud hosting services are intended for use by authorized users only. Authorized users include individuals or organizations who have validly subscribed to our services and agreed to our Terms of Service. Each person or entity accessing your account is required to abide by the terms of our agreement.
1.2 Lawful Use
You must use TRUX Cloud services for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. Your use of the services must not violate any laws, regulations, ordinances, or requirements of any applicable Federal, State, or local government.
2. Prohibited Activities
ECI strictly enforces compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to comply with the terms outlined below shall be deemed a material breach of your service agreement, which may result in immediate account suspension or service termination.
You agree that you and each person or entity accessing your account will not take any of the following actions:
2.1 Unauthorized Access
You must not attempt to gain or gain unauthorized access to any remote desktop, account, data, services, or other information belonging to TRUX Cloud, other users, or any third party. You must not disclose or use any such information without authorization.
2.2 System and Infrastructure
- Unauthorized Software: You must not install, run, or attempt to install or run any executable software not authorized in writing by ECI on our hosting systems or servers
- Resource Misuse: You must not engage in any activity that may result in excessive consumption of resources, including CPU, memory, or network bandwidth, or any other action that may disrupt or degrade the performance of our service for other users
- Infrastructure Harm: You must not undertake any action which is harmful or potentially harmful to TRUX Cloud or its infrastructure
2.3 Illegal and Harmful Content
You must not use TRUX Cloud services to store, transmit, or distribute any content that is:
- Illegal or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Related to harm or exploitation of minors
2.4 Intellectual Property Rights
You must respect the intellectual property rights of others. You must not:
- Host, distribute, or share any copyrighted materials, software, or media without appropriate authorization or infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property notices with respect to our services
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of our services
- Circumvent any technology used by ECI or its licensors to protect our services
- Sell, rent, sublicense, lease, or transfer any part of our services
2.5 Malicious Activity
You must not:
- Upload, distribute, or execute any malware, viruses, Trojan horses, or any other harmful software that may compromise the security and integrity of our service or the data of other users
- Post or copy malicious content that could interfere with other users’ access to our services
- Engage in phishing, spamming, mail bombing, or similar activities
- Carry out any denial of service attacks or any other action that may disrupt or impair the availability of our service to other users
2.6 Data Privacy and Security
You must not:
- Collect, attempt to collect, publicize, or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information of any person without their express written consent
- Solicit private information including social security numbers, credit card numbers, or passwords
- Use any crawler, robot, spider, scraper, or other similar automated means to capture screen data while utilizing our services
- Use our services to import or copy any local files that you do not have the legal right to import or copy
2.7 Fraud and Illegal Activity
You must not perform any act that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or malicious, or that could expose TRUX Cloud, its affiliates, or other customers to harm or liability of any type.
3. Account Security and Responsibility
3.1 Account Responsibility
You are fully responsible for all liabilities incurred through use of your account, including all damages, losses, and liabilities caused by any user accessing your account. You must promptly notify us if you become aware of any violation of this policy or any unauthorized access to your account.
3.2 Login Security
You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of all account information, including usernames and passwords. You will ensure that no unauthorized party uses your account. Your responsibility includes ensuring the secrecy and strength of your passwords.
You are responsible for ensuring that your login information is used only by you, and that each of your users’ login information is used only by that user.
3.3 Unauthorized Access Notification
If your login information is lost, stolen, or used by unauthorized parties, or if you believe your data or services have been accessed by unauthorized parties, it is your responsibility to immediately notify ECI to request account reset or investigation.
ECI shall have no liability resulting from unauthorized use of your login information or resulting from your use of a third-party password management tool.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to notification and other requirements related to any such unauthorized access.
3.4 Security Best Practices
We provide comprehensive security measures to protect your account and data. However, security is a shared responsibility. We ask that you:
- Maintain strong, unique passwords
- Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when available
- Do not share your credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Keep your workstations and devices updated with the latest security patches
- Provide security awareness training to your users about phishing attacks and other security risks
4. Security Incident Reporting
4.1 Security Vulnerability Reporting
If you discover any security vulnerabilities, potential breaches, or suspicious activity on TRUX Cloud, please report them to our security team promptly. You can report security issues through:

4.2 Your Security Responsibilities
You must immediately notify TRUX Cloud if you suspect:
- Your account credentials have been compromised
- Unauthorized access to your data or services
- Malicious activity or suspicious behavior
- Any potential security threat to our infrastructure
5. Compliance and Enforcement
5.1 Investigation and Enforcement
ECI strictly enforces compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate actions, including but not limited to:
- Warning
- Suspension of services
- Termination of account
- Legal action
- Cooperation with law enforcement
5.2 Violation Handling
Violations of this policy are treated as material breaches of your service agreement. This means that violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your services without additional notice.

6. Policy Updates
6.1 Changes to This Policy
TRUX Cloud reserves the right to update and modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting at https://trux.cloud/acceptable-use-policy/.
It is your responsibility to periodically review this policy to stay informed about any updates or changes. We will notify you of any material changes to this policy when such changes occur.
Your continued use of TRUX Cloud services after any modifications to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the modified policy.
